Anaïs Fabre

Welcome! I am a PhD candidate in Economics at the Toulouse School of Economics. I will be starting as a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute for Fiscal Studies in October 2024, before joining LMU Munich as an Assistant Professor in October 2025.

I primarily work on labor economics, with a particular focus on inequalities in access to higher education. My job market paper studies the link between the geography of the higher education market and spatial inequalities.

I also work on various topics in econometrics (see my working paper on the TWFE estimator with heterogeneous treatment effects) and industrial organization (see my work on the design of college admissions platforms). Learn more about my research here!

You can access my CV here and contact me at anais [dot] fabre [at] tse-fr [dot] eu.
